To be fair, no one has glorified Amy Winehouse today.
The fact she was an addict and had various other problems does not diminish her musical talent, which was immense and will be missed. No one is denying the devastating effects of drug use, and if anything her legacy will be the fact she self destructed so rapidly, something that will unfortunately overshadow the celebration of her music. I agree she was selfish and probably had no value for her life, but that is the nature of addiction of all kinds. She is now the poster child for the dangers of over consumption.

This is my friends dog, Butternut. She was beautiful.
Some asshole hit and run her yesterday and she died at the animal hospital a couple of hours later. I only spent a little bit of time with her but we had a lot of fun in the snow and ill remember that forever. She was even involved in the big snowball fight in times square (the dec 19th one, the crazy one) and her bouncing skills meant she remained untouched by most of the incoming ice balls. She was awesome. RIP furry lady x
